So, what is the company? LadyUmbrella was established towards the end of 2008 when a Spanish designer, Elena Montes Casado, joined forces with a dreaming entrepreneur, Robert Ryan and together they formed the company. The aspiration was simple - be our own bosses producing t-shirts that we would like to wear ourselves (well, one of us at least).

To get to this stage it has taken us over a year of designing, refining, crying and retrying but now we believe we have products that you'll be just as excited about as us. To us, Lady Umbrella represents funny, quirky, unusual yet cool clothing. We have put a lot of effort into each design and when you order and receive the finished product you'll know exactly what we are talking about...

So, what is LadyUmbrella The brand LadyUmbrella came to be as a direct result of the wet Irish weather. Elena, who had lived most of her life in Madrid/Barcelona arrived in Ireland during the dark, wet, winter months of 07 and saw streets laiden with umbrellas. The quantity of umbrellas obscured and hid peoples faces - LadyUmbrella was born. As a brand we produce high quality t-shirts using 100% combed cotton with top of the range printing techniques, our neck labels are a smooth and finely weaved and the overall package, we feel, is truly special. Each LadyUmbrella t-shirt is unique and signed by Elena herself as we hope to "fuse art with fashion"

So, who are we? Well, in brief, Elena is a fine art guru who completed a Masters in Art from Barcelona and has a penchant for design and the Photoshop and Illustrator skills to realise them. Robert, an I.T. and music graduate, has a background in many job paths but has a burning desire to be his own boss (as it were). WOW Dates 20th of January 2010 We launched our online shop and have been shipping ladies t-shirts all over the world ever since. 18th of June 2010 We opened up our first walk in premises in the Loft Market in Powerscourt Shopping Centre in Dublin City. We still can't believe we have been able to secure a place in there but are delighted..We are open every Friday (12pm to 6pm), Saturday (11am to 6pm) and Sunday (12pm to 6pm) - why not call into us?
